The Wipers Times
Following a sell-out season last year, The Wipers Times will be returning to the Arts Theatre this October. Ian Hislop and NIck Nickman’s acclaimed play is inspired by the true story of soldiers in the midst of the Somme who created their own satirical newspaper.

WOW – Women of the World Festival
WOW – Women of the World Festival returns to Southbank Centre. The festival celebrates women and girls and looks at the obstacles that stop them from achieving their potential. As a global network of festivals it provides a platform for celebrating what has been achieved, and exploring all the ways we can change the world for the better. This 8th annual instalment marks the 100th anniversary since some women got the vote in the UK, and when #MeToo shook the world.
Internationally acclaimed dancer Carlos Acosta returns to the Royal Albert Hall this October in CARLOS ACOSTA – A CELEBRATION.Acclaimed as one of the most extraordinary dancers of his generation, following his retirement from classical ballet Carlos Acosta will perform a selection of other favourite and specially commissioned pieces in a wonderful programme marking his thirty years as a dancer.
Meltdown Festival 2018

The Moderate Soprano
Jeremy Herrin’s acclaimed production of David Hare’s The Moderate Soprano to have West End premiere in April 2018, following a sold out run at Hampstead Theatre in 2015. Roger Allam and Nancy Carroll will reprise roles of Glyndebourne founder John Christie and his wife Audrey Mildmay with further casting to be announced.
The Best Man
Bill Kenwright presents the West End premiere of Gore Vidal’s sharp political drama The Best Man, at The Playhouse Theatre from Saturday 24 February.Starring: Martin Shaw, Jeff Fahey, Maureen Lipman, Jack Shepherd, Honeysuckle Weeks and Glynis Barber. This brand new production is directed by Simon Evans.
We are pleased to be working with The Cogency once again on 14-18 NOW, a programme of extraordinary artistic experiences connecting people with the First World War from 2014 to 2018. This is timed to mark the centenary of the war, which engulfed Europe, Asia and Africa from 1914-1918Famous amongst many for the Poppies: Wave and Weeping Window sculptures that toured the UK, 14-18 NOW is commissioning artists from the UK and around the world to look afresh at this conflict and to create shared experiences exploring this significant moment in time.
Molière's comedic masterpiece - Tartuffe
Inspired by current world events, award-winning playwright Christopher Hampton has freshly adapted Molière's comedic masterpiece. This thrilling new adaptation of Molière’s classic comedy, penned by Academy, BAFTA and Olivier award winner Christopher Hampton (ART, Dangerous Liaisons, Atonement), and directed by the former dramaturg of the French People’s National Theatre Gerald Garutti, will premiere as the West End’s first ever dual language theatre production.
The Manchester Theatre Awards
Nominations have been announced for the forthcoming Manchester Theatre Awards to be held at The Lowry on Friday 9 March, hosted by actor and comedian Justin Moorhouse. The annual awards – the most important theatrical prize-giving outside London – has been a major fixture of the North West cultural calendar since 1981 and will honour productions seen in Greater Manchester during 2017. The Manchester Theatre Awards are in association with Target Live, whose Manchester office will be managing the PR for the forthcoming awards.
Maly Drama Theatre
The legendary Maly Drama Theatre of St. Petersburg - described by Peter Brook as ‘the finest ensemble theatre in Europe’ - returns to London this spring for a strictly limited engagement for the first time in over a decade, with the UK première of Vasily Grossman’s epic novel, Life and Fate, and their celebrated production of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya at London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket. Both productions will be performed in Russian with English surtitles.

Opera North started the year with a treble win in the What’s On Stage 2018 opera polls, for Best New Production (La Cenerentola), Breakthrough Artist in UK Opera (Wallis Giunta, various productions) and Outstanding Contribution to the UK Operatic Scene (Little Greatsseason). Congratulations!

The Moderate Soprano
Target Live are proud to be working on the West End transfer of David Hare’s new play The Moderate Soprano, first seen at Hampstead Theatre which went on public sale this week. Starring Roger Allam and Nancy Carroll, who reprise their roles. It is Glyndebourne’s original love story!
SHREK 2018/19 Tour
Following a record-breaking UK and Ireland Tour, the smash hit blockbuster Shrek The Musical is back. The tour opens at Edinburgh Playhouse on 12th December for 4 weeks. Target Live are thrilled to be looking after the Marketing, Ticketing, Media buying and Design across the 24 tour dates running through until 2019.
Men In Motion
International ballet superstar Ivan Putrov’s thrilling celebration of the male dancer Men in Motion returns to the London Coliseum for two performances only on 22 and 23 November.
The Last Ship
On Sunday it was announced that Sting’s musical, The Last Ship, will receive its UK premiere in a new production at Northern Stage next year, before setting sail on a national tour directed by Lorne Campbell, and featuring Jimmy Nail.
Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre launches in York
Target Live client, Lunchbox Theatrical Productions has announced that Europe’s first ever pop-up Shakespearean Theatre – Shakespeare’s Rose Theatre, is set to open in York in Summer 2018 at a hugely successful Media Launch held in the historic city.
