On Sunday tens of thousands of women gathered in cities across the UK to mark 100 years since British women won the vote. Women in London, Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh donned the purple, green and white colours of the suffragette movement to join the mass procession.

Commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK’s arts programme for the First World War centenary and produced by Artichoke, PROCESSIONS gathered one hundred female artists working with communities across the UK to create banners for the marches in the four cities.
